Hollywood is known for its left leaning poetics, but since President Obama took office, more right-wingers are on the political move. Singer Pat Boone has been a conservative advocate and staunch Republican since the 1950's, but now he is taking his fight against the left to others in the industry. Boone blames Hollywood in part for the move to the extreme left that this country has taken.
Boone describes his celebrity counterparts as living on the "Left Coast," and he's not alone. He has been criticized for his political leanings and his criticism of the liberal dogma. Recently, however, Boone spoke at the CPAC, which is a conservative political action committee, and an estimated 11,000 people attended and heard the message anew.
